Remarks
This unusual Broads motor cruiser offers a rare opportunity to own a small piece of Norfolk Broads boating history! Built by John Brooke of Lowestoft for his own personal use, and sister vessel to "Doris", it is understood that "Picken Jack" was subsequently owned by both the Jeckell and Broom families. Her current custodian has owned her for over 25 years and she is now for sale due to a change in circumstances. Although "Picken Jack" has been professionally maintained to a high standard for most of her life, she has sadly seen very little maintenance since 2008 (when the photos were taken) and consequently she does now require some restoration to preserve her for future generations. Currently lying afloat.
