Remarks
This much-loved river cruiser class Broads yacht is reluctantly offered for sale owing to a relocation. She has benefitted from a comprehensive restoration by the previous owner, as well as the current owner who has spent in excess of £8000 over the last couple of years making her an extremely desirable example of her class. Works have included having her hull completely stripped down, sanded, caulked and freshly gel coated back to her original colour of white.
Easily handled, even single-handed, and raced comfortably with with a minimal crew, she is ideal as a mid-sized traditional RCC yacht. She is being sold fully equipped with everything needed to go sailing
She has a comprehensive and varied history, having been launched into hire as 'Clipper VI', and sold into private ownership in 1961 (at which time she was renamed and registered with the RCC), and she is well known on both the northern and southern rivers. She even starred in the fiction story "The Cruise Of The Clipper: A Story Of The Norfolk Broads" written by Arthur Morgan Derham in 1952!
The vessel's current Broads mooring, which is in a very desirable location is understood to be transferrable and is available by separate negotiation.
