Remarks
This Kingsley Farrington built GRP half decker is based on a 'White Boat' (Yare & Bure One Design). With a slightly reduced draft designed for shallow water sailing, she was commissioned in the early 1990s by Eric Smith (Broads sailor, sail-maker, co-founder of Snowflake Sailing Club and instigator of the Three Rivers Race) for use on Hickling Broad. Offering sparkling and responsive performance thanks to her Ernest Woods heritage, and with an easily handled lug sail rig, she is ideal for both single handed or family sailing. Recently renovated with all new oak blocks and a new oak tabernacle, she is being sold complete with a purpose-built road trailer, enabling her to be over-wintered and maintained at home if space allows, and a new overall cover.
A really special half decker, presented to an extremely high standard. For sale due to the purchase of a narrowboat/change of cruising area.
MOORING: The vessel's very desirable northern Broads mooring may be transferable subject to agreement from the mooring owner (currently paid to March 2023). Winter barn storage arrangement may also be transferable if required (approximate cost £250 for 6 months). The vessel's trailer is currently stored off site approximately 3 miles away.
