Remarks
A beautiful classic Broads motor cruiser with lots of period features and character galore! Privately commissioned, and never having been in hire, this motor cruiser has clearly been much loved (and admired!) throughout her life, and it's understood that she's been kept moored in a wet shed since new. Offering a centre cockpit and traditional layout with five berths in two cabins, an unusually large (full-width) and fully equipped galley, heads compartment, cabin heating and huge amounts of storage space throughout, she offers well appointed, comfortable accommodation and space for her owners and guests alike. She would also potentially be well suited for liveaboard use too, if you're looking for a special and unique home afloat. For sale due to lack of time, this lovely old lady is now looking for a new custodian to enjoy her. And who wouldn't enjoy owning this gorgeous classic motor cruiser?!
History: A previous owner (for some 38 years) informs us that this vessel was owned by the original commissioning owner from 1954 to 1965, before changing hands again in 1971, 1974 and 2012. She was British Part 1 registered from 1962 to 2012. She has been called "Pour Toi" from new, and she was initially accompanied by a tender named "Pour Moi"! She is believed to have been kept in just two wet sheds since new, originally starting out in the current location, and then at Herbert Woods from 2001 to 2011, before again returning to her present home. It's also believed that she was wintered ashore annually until c.2012. The previous owner would be happy to receive contact from Pour Toi's next custodian.
MOORING: It's believed that the vessel's wet shed mooring is transferable (current cost approximately £3,000 per annum).
IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE: This vessel is due to have approximately 6 planks (4 to port and 2 to starboard) renewed in mahogany, plus any other below waterline repairs deemed necessary at the time and all associated recaulking and repainting, in late September 2022 by Cox's Boatyard. The work is expected to take approximately 3 weeks. The asking price for the vessel is £28,000 as-is before September or £35,000 to include/upon completion of the works.
