Remarks

This beautiful River Cruiser Class broads yacht is well known throughout the Broads, having raced and cruised extensively with her previous owner (who first sailed her as a child when she was owned by his maths teacher!) following his 'rescue' and painstaking renovation of her from 1989 to 1993. She was purchased by the current owner in 2017, and following major refurbishment by Eastwood Whelptons in 2018 (photos available), she was again back cruising the Broads and completed the 3RR in 2019. She is now unexpectedly offered for sale due to her owner's relocation. She is entered in the 60th Anniversary Three Rivers Race (30th-31st May 2020) and she will therefore not be available for handover to a new owner until after the race. Inspections ashore are welcome in advance of her relaunch early/mid April, and trial sails can be arranged throughout the remainder of April and May.

TRAILER: A road trailer in good order is available by negotiation (asking price £1,500).

TENDER: A 12ft clinker dinghy with single axle road trailer is also available by negotiation (asking price £3,500). "Rita" was built by Souters of Cowes c.1940s and is powered by a single cylinder Stuart Turner engine. Both hull and engine underwent professional refurbishment in 2018.
