Remarks

The Waveney One Design (WOD) was designed in the early 1920s at the request of the Waveney Sailing Club, and the class are still actively sailed and raced at the Waveney & Oulton Broad Yacht Club (WOBYC). The first 26 WODs were constructed in wood by various builders over a number of years. In 1994 a mould was taken from a local boat builder's WOD, Penny Royal, and a further 8 boats have since been built in GRP.

WOD #8 has just been fully restored by an undoubted authority on the class, having previously built five GRP WODs and fully restored another seven wooden WODs, not to mention over 25 years in the boat building industry generally! This boat has therefore been renovated to a high standard and has to be seen to be fully appreciated!

TRAILER: The trailer pictured is not included in the asking price but it could be available by separate negotiation for a further £1,500 including deck spar boards, lighting board, ratchet straps (new) and a pair of winter standing trestles with side props.

DELIVERY: Delivery can be arranged within a 50 mile radius at cost.

STORAGE: Storage is paid for the vessel up to March 2021.
