Remarks

With her spacious and comfortable forecabin, large saloon with interior helm, and good sized cockpit, the Swin Ranger 22 is a very popular small motor sailer and ideal for a couple. This example is understood to have spent the majority of her life near to where she was built in the Brightlingsea and Walton-on-the-Naze areas of Essex. She was purchased by the current owner in 2011 (although he did sell her briefly, but regretted his decision so much that he quickly bought her back!) and he immediately set about converting her to a junk rig with lowering masts for use on the Norfolk Broads and electric propulsion, and she has continued to be updated in recent years including most recently a new outboard motor in 2017 and new batteries in 2018. This attractive motor sailer is ideal for someone who's looking for an easily handled, safe, comfortable passage maker with a shallow draft for exploring the creeks and shallow waters of the East Coast and Broads in all weathers. A well equipped boat, she would also be well suited to use as a small liveaboard vessel.

MOORING: It's understood that this vessel's current southern Broads mooring (£65 pcm) could be transferred to the purchaser.
