Much updated and improved by the current and previous owners, and with over £10,000 spent on upgrades in 2017/18 alone, this extremely well equipped Pegasus 800 has cruised both the Broads and the East Coast with her current owner and is fully set up for coastal sailing. She is presented in great condition throughout and benefits from a very desirable combination of wing keel and fractional rig (professionally checked and re-tuned 2018) with recent new sails. She also boasts electric mast lowering equipment, making lowering and raising the mast for bridges a very easy task, and a Webasto heating/cooling system and full cockpit enclosure (both new 2018), providing additional space and comfort on board regardless of the time of year. Ideal for both cruising and racing, she is now for sale due to the purchase of a larger yacht. Without doubt, one of the very best Pegasus 800s on the Broads!

MOORING: It's understood that the vessel's current southern Broads mooring could be transferred to the purchaser.

Conclusion from December 2013 Insurance Survey Report:

"'Nererd' is a fine example of this class of yacht and remains structurally and cosmetically a sound and attractive craft. The hull condition both above and below the waterline is very good considering the year of build, this is due to the original build quality along with a good maintenance regime and constant updating of the equipment and systems. The standing rigging, stays and sails are all in good condition and well maintained having been completely replaced within the last five years. Moisture readings are around average at the moment but are likely to decline as the vessel dries out over the winter.

Internally, the vessel remains up to date with modern appliances, materials and fittings resulting in a very pleasing finish. In addition, the machinery has been over-hauled and updated and should hopefully prove to give reliable service in the future.

Provided the requisite level of on-going maintenance is undertaken along with regular periods ashore to allow the hull to dry out, there is no reason why 'Nereid' should not continue in service for many years."
