Remarks

Discovered in 1976/77 at the bottom of City Mill River near Bow Bridge, East London, this classic launch was originally open with a cabin fore and aft. It was at first thought that she was an ex-Royal Navy pinnace, but further research eventually concluded that she is more likely to be a Thames Steam Launch. Having very nearly met with a fiery end at a marina bonfire party in 2004 (!), she was thankfully instead rescued and has subsequently undergone a thorough renovation, redesign and refit at the IBTC International Boatbuilding Training College Lowestoft. Relaunched in October 2017, she is now offered for sale in what is appears to be excellent condition throughout.
