Remarks

One of the last boats to be built in wood by Martham Ferry Boats, this Cresta Maria class sailing cruiser has had only two owners from new, having been privately commissioned and built to the specification of the original owner, a musician in the Big Band era who played the drums on the soundtrack to the film "Where Eagle's Die" (and in fact the build was financed by monies bequeathed to the original owner by a well respected band leader whose rings were placed in the hull during the build!). Clearly a much loved vessel, she offers spacious family accommodation with a possible 6 berths, together with the convenience of an inboard diesel engine and an electric mast lowering system. She is presented in good order throughout, and is now very sadly for sale due to her owner's advancing years. The vendor would be pleased to offer any assistance he can to the new owner if desired.
