Remarks

Based on the extremely popular Westerly Centaur, the Westerly Chieftain, of which some 79 were built, has an aft cabin/centre cockpit, bowsprit and wheel steering. Owned by the current owners for some 20 years, this example has always been carefully maintained, including in 2012 the re-epoxying of the hull and installation of a new diesel engine which has proven itself to be very reliable and provides plenty of extra power when required. With her bilge keels, which allow for easy dry-standing and transportation, and her versatile family-friendly accommodation, the Chieftain is an excellent family sailing cruiser for either inland or coastal sailing. For sale due to the purchase of a smaller vessel.

MOORING: It's understood that this vessel's current northern Broads mooring (approximately £1,000 p.a.) can be transferred to the purchaser subject to agreement from the mooring owner.
