This very pretty Deben Cherub is understood to have been the last built (sixteen were built in total between 1924 and 1937). She is unique in having a large cockpit and short cabin, with all the preceding yachts having had smaller cockpits and larger cabins. She has clearly been well looked after, and is well equipped and benefits from many recent repairs and upgrades, including new sails. She has been well cruised around the Deben, Orwell, Stour and Walton backwaters solo and with the 'Old Gaffers', and the owner informs us that on a summer evening, a third crew member can easily be accommodated in a boom slung hammock! She is reluctantly for sale due to recent health issues, and is currently lying afloat, in commission and ready to sail. A real east coast classic!!

Mooring: The vessel's current east coast mooring is understood to be available to the purchaser, subject to additional negotiation.
