Remarks

The Vancouver 274 is an out and out, uncompromised, full displacement cruising yacht and an obvious option for any live abroad or serious cruiser. Solidly build, and with an enviable reputation, the 274 is very similar in design to both the Vancouver 27 and the Vancouver 28. Around 250 of the three models were built in total, many of which have gone on to make numerous and varied long distance passages. An iconic cruising yacht!

Purchased by the current owner in 2002, this Vancouver 274 benefited from a minor overhaul in 2011/2012 after having been laid up ashore for some five or so years previous to that. She was subsequently relaunched in March 2012, but remained unused, having been properly decommissioned afloat with her engine professionally winterised and her sails and upholstery in dry storage. She was put back ashore in November 2017 and has remained ashore since.

All photos, with the exception of those of the vessel afloat and one showing the berth cushions, were taken by Topsail in May 2020.

NOTE: An inflatable dinghy (new/unused), Webasto cabin heating system (new/never been fitted) and set of beaching legs are also available by negotiation.
