Accommodation

5/6 berths in 2 cabins

The boat has a good size cockpit with doghouse, from which the companionway steps lead down to the main cabin. The galley is at the foot of the steps to starboard, and provides a Valor gas cooker (4 burners, oven and grill), sink unit with pressurised hot and cold, refrigerator, Paloma water heater, storage and worktops. Opposite the galley is a locker and a passageway to the aft cabin. The aft cabin provides a double berth, settee, navigation area, and storage. There is also a separate bench/pilot berth situated along side the passageway. Opposite the passageway and access from the aft cabin is the vessels workshop. There is access from the passageway, workshop and aft cabin to the engine compartment. In the main saloon there is a settee to either side, both with storage underneath and upholstered in a light blue woven material. At the forward end of the saloon there is a fitted table with internal bottle store. The vessels decor is finished in teak panelling and in common with most Bruce Roberts boats her headroom is excellent at over 2m. She has considerable amounts of storage, including shelves and cupboards under both side decks. Going forward again, the heads is to port, and provides a sea toilet, hand basin and shower. In the bow there are two further full length berths plus hanging lockers. The boat benefits from diesel powered central heating, and also has shore power plus a solar panel and an Air Marine generator. Navigation equipment includes: binnacle compass, Stowe speed and distance log, Sealine VHF, SSB radio, Stowe echo sounder, Furuno radar, Garmin 120 GPS, an Autohelm 7000 autopilot, and a clock and barometer. The boat is currently de-rigged and could thus be considered for use either as a sailing vessel, but would need new spars, or as a motor vessel/live aboard. She has wide decks and pulpit, pushpit, stanchions and guardlines. She carries two 40kg Danforth anchors plus chain which are operated through a Maxwell capstan (3000lb haul capability). She is fitted with davits and also has a wind bagger. She carries 700l of diesel and 700l of water.

Remarks

It is understood her build was featured in Practical Boat Owner since when she has carried out a 15 year circumnavigation. She is a boat with a lot of potential, in need of what appears to be mainly cosmetic upgrading (and a new rig if you wish to sail her).
