The boat has a good cockpit with seating to either side and lockers beneath. In the cabin, there is a full-length quarter berth to port and a settee berth (also full-length) to starboard. Forward, to port, there is a galley area with a cooker and storage (sink unit is understood to be concealed under the companionway steps). Forward of this there is a sea-toilet to port opposite which is a hanging locker. In the bow there is a V-berth.
- Navigation equipment: Compass, depth sounder and log (all new 1999), wind indicator, navigation lights, Autohelm self-steering
- Safety equipment: Lifebuoy, 2 fire extinguishers, fire blanket
- Ground tackle: Danforth anchor and chain, Fisherman's kedge anchor, warps, fenders
Though compact in size, these are serious cruiser/racers, two of them having entered and finished the 1977 B-Star Transatlantic race. Easily trailable, with their lift keels they are also very undemanding as to where they are moored. A nicely presented example, for sale due to the purchase of a larger vessel. We recently had another Anderson 22 for sale and, judging by the interest that one triggered, would recommend early viewing.
