It is understood this boat was built originally for Air Commodore Sowrey CBE, DFC, AFC, and that she is listed in the Lloyds Register of Yachts 1959. She was the subject of an extensive restoration in 1990, which included a new stern post, decks, coach roof, coamings, side benches and engine casing. Her engine has been thoroughly overhauled, with all necessary parts, including a fuel tank and pipework, being replaced. It is understood that since restoration she has been kept under cover. In consequence, although we understand her to be generally sound, she has dried out and will need some re-caulking prior to launch. This is the sort of day sailer of which dreams are made - classic lines, from her spoon bow to her elegantly tapering counter, and very pretty.
